So I found out a GameStop near me still has preorders. I was amazed at this fact and plan to go get one today, then return around midnight to pick it up.

Yeah, screw everyone who has been waiting for over a year for this. I only waited two days. *fist pump*

Wow.

I had low expectations for this game. I only bought it for the multiplayer aspect, because free roam multiplayer sounds so rocking. But I never expected to enjoy all of the game this much.

I played a bit into the story, and I'm very impressed by the voice acting and how the characters look and feel. They have connections with each other, and play on these as you play the game. You can develop connections with other characters as well, sometimes optional and sometimes not, but it still makes for a great game. I'm not far into the story, so that's all I'll say about that. (/Forest Gump)

Multiplayer is SO awesome. My favorite mode has to be Free Roam. You can do anything you want. Me and 6 other guys in the game I was in decided to all hijack some motorcycles, drive around town doing whatever we wanted, busted a strip club, and then stole some helicopters until the cops shot us all down. It was soooo much fun. The ability to do whatever you please using the whole game as your playground is an amazing thing when you add people to hang out with.

Feel free to hit me up on Live, under the name TBThief.

I'm currently browsing the Sochl site, waiting until time for me to head out to a midnight release. I figure I should at least enjoy the festivities, since it's not often that a game of this calibur and hype comes along. Plus, it'll kill me sitting at work tomorrow without having played at least an hour of it :).

GTA4 Preordered

I just took back a handful of games to Gamestop. I got an extra 10% trade in value thanks to my edge card, and then on top of that they added +$5 per game because I decided to preorder GTA4 completely. Leaving me with a $60 credit, I tried to get a copy of Rock Band without instruments and the only copy they claimed to have was the display copy, meaning it was open and still marked as new. I declined and decided I'd get it at a later date.

Just released (<a href="http://www.rockstargames.com/IV/trailer3/640x360q.html">here</a>) Looks fantastic, however the framerate looks again like its an issue, just like with all the GTA3 series.
